Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Policy

 It is the policy of Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd, and its subsidiaries to ensure the safety and wellbeing of employees, contractors and the general public, by integrating a sound environmental, health and safety practice into our business which is key to our success.

Our objectives are:          

• To build a strong Health Safety, and Environmental Culture through teamwork;

   

• To comply with all pertinent environmental and safety laws, rules and regulations because we believe it is the responsible way to conduct our business;

   

• To set HSE targets and goals annually to measure our performance, and to continually improve;

   

• To monitor, review and enhance safety systems and environmental assessments on a regular basis;

   

• To provide education, training and lessons learnt to our employees in order for them to have the knowledge, skills, and understanding to perform their responsibilities and duties;

   

• To review and verify performance periodically with audits, evaluations and other quality assurance, and risk control and mitigating measures;

   

• To empower employees, partners and contractors to promptly report non-compliance or unsafe conditions and to take immediate action to prevent injuries or environmental accidents;

   

• To provide relevant safety and health information, and industry best practices to partners and contractors and require them to provide proper training for the safe, environmentally sound performance of their work; and

   

• To communicate our commitment to this policy to our subsidiaries, partners and contractors and seek their support.

All employees are required to comply with all safety and environmental-related rules and regulations. Each employee understands that they are individually responsible for their own safety and the safety of those around them.
